Summary - Laika X 700:
The Laika X700 offers a combination of rugged chassis and good specification in a family vehicle, with some very neat design touches. There are some compromises; there is no dedicated TV position, the upholstery is a little flat and a 6th seatbelt would have been even better.
The rear body overhang will have to be borne in mind when negotiating steep inclines or boarding ferries, but the shorter wheelbase will also offer an excellent turning circle. Overall, this is a serious mid-range family coachbuilt contender.
