Outside:
Large graphics adorn the sides of the front overcab Luton of the Laika X 700, to help disguise its size. These, along with the grey side skirts, side graphics and large burgundy rear light housings help to break up the blandness of the white body. Neat cappings finish the wall to roof joints.
The rear garage is of decent size, with access both sides, having textured floor, lashing eyes and cycle ramp. A full height storage area can be created by clipping the bottom bunk in its vertical position. A slide-out watertight storage box behind the cab is a very useful option.
On the nearside, an external hatch gives access to the Truma heating system, water pump and frost valve. The water filler is curiously high above this locker. There are two grey water tanks which have dump valves on either side of the ‘van, whilst the electric hookup point is on the offside.

Inside:
With 5 three-point seatbelts, this is a true family vehicle. It will, however, sleep 6, even 7 if a small person uses the dinette side seat which is not full length. The dinette table area converts to a double, with another double over the cab and two bunks at the rear. Both front and rear beds are solid with good mattresses and protective nets.
The lounge seating has high knee-rolls yet doesn't feel very supportive. A Heki rooflight over the dinette maximises light. Lighting is plentiful throughout – 7 lights in the dinette area alone. The kitchen offers deep top lockers, three burner hob, extractor and slide-out storage under the worksurface, although no storage under the sink as this space is occupied by the gas locker.
In the galley, you will find a fridge-freezer with oven and grill over, which will need accessing carefully as it is adjacent to the top bunk. Those wanting a good washroom will be pleased to find a proper shower cubicle with a deep tray and seat moulding – great for children. The vanity sink access for adults is a little awkward due to floor mounted plinth. Behind a locker door, there is a very handy mesh bin.
